Are you interested in becoming a member of the Mandy’s Farm organization?  We are always looking for qualified, dedicated care givers to provide support to the individuals we serve.  We are able to work with a variety of schedules, as many of our programs run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We have the following positions currently available:

Residential Manager– Residential Managers provide supervision, training, and oversight to Residential Support Coaches who are providing assistance to adults with developmental disabilities in a group home setting.  Residential Managers manage day-to-day operations, grocery purchases, fleet usage, medication and medical care needs, scheduling, staff training, and documentation requirements for their assigned residence.

Garden Manager– The Mandy’s Farm Garden Manager provides educational opportunities in agriculture for adults with developmental disabilities and community members who visit our properties.  The Garden Manager oversees the planning, planting, tending, and harvesting processes that occur within our agriculture program, while simultaneously sharing knowledge with individuals of all ages, with and without disabilities.

Community Support Coach– CSCs help adults with developmental disabilities in accessing the community and pursuing meaningful daily activities in preparation for the workplace.  Community Support Coaches provide essential support to individuals participating in horseback riding, swimming, gardening, service learning in the community, visual arts workshops, educational workshops, and recreation.

Residential Support Coach– RSCs help adults with developmental disabilities build skills for independence in a home setting.  Residential Support Coaches provide essential assistance with personal care, cooking, cleaning, transportation, assistance with medications, and access to community outings.

Job Coach– Job coaches help adults with developmental disabilities build skills in their work environment.  Job Coaches provide essential assistance to individuals with disabilities as they complete their daily work tasks within community businesses. Job Coaches often assist with personal care, transportation, work site accommodations, job task breakdowns, behavioral support, and communication strategies.

AmeriCorps Service Member– Through the VAMOS Program, an initiative focused on providing intensive employment training to individuals with disabilities living without adult services, community members are able to engage in national service through AmeriCorps. AmeriCorps Members in the VAMOS Program are trained to support people with disabilities who are preparing for higher education, work, and adult living. AmeriCorps Members, while not considered paid employees, receive a living allowance and education award as part of their service commitment. AmeriCorps service opportunities at Mandy’s Farm can be part-time, seasonal, and short-term, depending on program funding, structure, and service needs.
