Mandy’s Farm Receives FTA Transportation Funding through 5310 Grant

Mandy’s Farm is pleased to continue its partnership with the New Mexico Department of Transportation and the Federal Transit Authority through participation in their 5310 programs.

In 2019, Mandy’s Farm was recommended to receive $119,028.00 dollars in ADA-accessible vehicles, allowing for the expansion of demand-response transportation services for the individuals participating in Mandy’s Farm programs.

In 2018, Mandy’s Farm received $76,445.60 dollars in ADA-accessible vehicles through the 5310 program.

Mandy’s Farm was recently awarded the 2017 New Mexico Section 5310 Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities System of the Year award, recognizing our excellence in providing transportation to adults with developmental disabilities in Bernalillo County, as well as our commitment to significantly expanding the number of individuals we provide transportation to each year.

Mandy’s Farm received additional funding from the New Mexico Department of Transportation and Federal Transit Authority 5310 programs for ADA-accessible transportation during the 2014 and 2016 fiscal year grant cycles.
