Supported Employment

marinaThe “Everyone Can Work” Supported Employment program helps individuals find meaningful employment opportunities.

Mandy’s Farm is committed to helping individuals explore opportunities to advance their employment, education, life skills, health, and well-being. Our program, Everyone Can Work, is designed to help individuals identify, develop, and achieve their goals surrounding employment, and ultimately carve out a long-term career path. We fully embrace the Employment First principle and have designed our program to give participants real opportunities to participate in and contribute to their community at large. We believe that everyone can work, and that the individuals we serve are already prepared to enter the workforce. The challenge is finding the right fit to match the unique contributions each applicant can make to the workplace.

In order to assist individuals with disabilities in achieving their employment goals, Mandy’s Farm partners with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR).  Depending on your eligibility, DVR can provide a source of funding for job development, trial work periods, self-employment, work uniforms, interview clothing, driver’s education, bus passes, benefits counseling and more.  As a DVR vendor, we can help you navigate these resources and identify other necessary supports.

The Everyone Can Work program is always looking for additional community employers with whom to partner.  Interested employers who wish to learn more about employing individuals with disabilities and its benefits, as well as those who are actively looking for employees, can contact us at any time.
