Continued support from the Del Norte Rotary Foundation

Established in 1989, The Rotary Del Norte Foundation provides financial support to local charities. In 2012, this wonderful organization awarded Mandy’s Farm funds for a copy machine.

In 2013, Mandy’s Farm was granted monies to purchase a Hoyer lift, a hydraulic-powered lifting mechanism designed to help individuals with limited mobility to gain access to therapeutic swimming.

In 2014, Rotary Del Norte once again generously funded the purchase of much-needed iPads, to be used in our day services program.

Mandy’s Farm receives Hancock Family Foundation grant

The Hancock Family Foundation has awarded Mandy’s Farm a generous grant to expand the visual arts program through the purchase of state-of-the-art supplies. Day Services Coordinator, Jessie Calero, developed an extensive painting and drawing curriculum.

An additional 2014 grant from the Hancock Family Foundation allowed us to purchase art supplies, as well as funds to establish a ceramics studio for our day services program.

Bradbury Stamm donates truck to Mandy’s Farm

In April 2014, Bradbury Stamm donated a 2007 Ford F150 truck for use around the Farm. This gently used truck replaced one which was donated by Bradbury Stamm several years ago. We are most grateful for the long-term support from this wonderful organization.

Bike Across America for Autism

In August 2013, Local cyclists John Padoven, Joel Sachs, and David Garcia completed an amazing 1500 mile journey from Boston, MA to Key West, FL. Their goal was to raise awareness for autism by encouraging communities along the way to adopt programs serving the needs of individuals with Developmental Disabilities. At the same time, they raised money for Mandy’s Farm. Funds were combined with the grant from Albuquerque Involved to purchase a mounting ramp for the therapeutic horsemanship program.
