Mandy’s Farm Receives FTA 5310 Transportation Grant Funding

In 2014, we received a new high top paratransit van and new a low-floor minivan with funds provided by the 5310 Federal Department of Transportation grant.

In 2016, Mandy’s Farm received two additional vehicles from the 5310 Federal Department of Transportation grant, in order to replace our well-used shuttles that support Day Services transportation.  These shuttles include additional wheelchair lifts and accessibility that is sorely needed to serve all individuals within the program.

In 2017, Mandy’s Farm is slated to receive an additional shuttle and low-floor minivan, both with wheelchair access, in order to retire heavily used vehicles from our fleet.

United Way of Central New Mexico

In July 2013, Mandy’s Farm was awarded $25,000 from the Community Fund through United Way of Central New Mexico, to establish a pilot program and create employment opportunities in the community, in integrated settings, for individuals with Developmental Disabilities.

In 2014 we were once again granted $25,000 from the Community Fund to continue our supported employment program, Everyone Can Work.

More recently, in 2015, Mandy’s Farm was granted funding to further support the Everyone Can Work program in the amount of $5,000.
