United Way of Central New Mexico

In July 2013, Mandy’s Farm was awarded $25,000 from the Community Fund through United Way of Central New Mexico, to establish a pilot program and create employment opportunities in the community, in integrated settings, for individuals with Developmental Disabilities.

In 2014 we were once again granted $25,000 from the Community Fund to continue our supported employment program, Everyone Can Work.

More recently, in 2015, Mandy’s Farm was granted funding to further support the Everyone Can Work program in the amount of $5,000.

Continued support from the Del Norte Rotary Foundation

Established in 1989, The Rotary Del Norte Foundation provides financial support to local charities. In 2012, this wonderful organization awarded Mandy’s Farm funds for a copy machine.

In 2013, Mandy’s Farm was granted monies to purchase a Hoyer lift, a hydraulic-powered lifting mechanism designed to help individuals with limited mobility to gain access to therapeutic swimming.

In 2014, Rotary Del Norte once again generously funded the purchase of much-needed iPads, to be used in our day services program.

$7000 raised during Give Grande New Mexico

In May 2014, Mandy’s Farm participated in a very special 24-hour online event called Give Grande New Mexico. As part of a national day of giving called Give Local America, the Community Foundation Coalition of New Mexico supported local nonprofits and causes throughout New Mexico. Thanks to our generous supporters, Mandy’s Farm raised over $7,000 during this event.

Mandy’s Farm receives Hancock Family Foundation grant

The Hancock Family Foundation has awarded Mandy’s Farm a generous grant to expand the visual arts program through the purchase of state-of-the-art supplies. Day Services Coordinator, Jessie Calero, developed an extensive painting and drawing curriculum.

An additional 2014 grant from the Hancock Family Foundation allowed us to purchase art supplies, as well as funds to establish a ceramics studio for our day services program.
